THORESEN VINAMA CO - A TEAM NORWAY MEMBER FOR 17-MAY-2024 CELEBRATION
In the mood of celebrating Norway's National Day on May 17th, Thoresen Vinama Co., Ltd is honored to be a Team Norway member on the official facebook page of Norwegian Embassy in Hanoi.
This is a great oppoturnity to introduce Thoresen Vinama Co to Norwegian community in Vietnam as well as to everybody.
We, Thoresen Vinama Co, are a joint venture company between Local Vinama Agencies Co and foreign company Thoresen Indochina with Norwegian, Japanese and Thai shareholders.
We have been active in Vietnam for 30 years in the shipping/logistic and fertilizer sector with main activities including shipping agency, forwarding, chartering and operation of vessels, logistics, warehousing, inland transportation of wind-towers and management of Baconco Co fertilizer factory.
With main office in Ho Chi Minh City, Thoresen Vinama has branch offices in Phu My, Vung Tau, and Hai Phong with subsidiary companies in Baria Vung Tau, Thoresen Vinama Logistics Co, which is now operating a warehouse complex of 125.000 m2 indoor warehouse and 35.000m2 open yard of which 2/3 is normal warehouse and 1/3 is 12 months custom bonded, and a truck fleet of 45 trucks of 32mt each; a tug company Thoresen Vinama Tug Co has 4 strong tugs, Thor and Odin azimuth of 5000 HP and two locally built of 4100 HP and 4800 HP named Sigrid Viking and Hilda Viking, operating in Baria Vung Tau.
Thoresen Vinama now has 700 employees of which only 3 are foreigners.
